ACTOR Darius Sinathrya admitted that he is currently taking up tennis as his new hobby in between his busy acting schedule because it is fun and easy to do anywhere.
“Why tennis? 15 years ago I played with Donna (his wife) for a brand, we came, watched, and met the athletes,” said Darius, quoted on Wednesday (4/9).
At that time, Darius and his wife had not really pursued tennis as a hobby because the sport was not as popular as it is now.
Recently, Darius was invited by his co-star in the film Sumala, Luna Maya, to play tennis together.
From there, Darius became interested in pursuing tennis as his new hobby.
Darius is known as an Indonesian artist who likes to do various types of sports, so it is not surprising that he chose tennis as his favorite sport.

“Yesterday, coincidentally, there were two filming projects with Luna and one of them was playing tennis together,” said Darius.
“Because I’ve bought a racket and shoes, so I think I’ll continue as a hobby,” he continued.
According to him, tennis tends to be easier to play and can be done in smaller locations. In addition, tennis can be played by two people without having to be done in a large group.

“If I play football, there is no community around my house and I have to gather a lot of people, and when I go home, there will definitely be a traffic jam because of the distance.
“The field to his house is quite far,” said the 39-year-old man.
He added, “If you play tennis, you can do it in front of your house, on the court, anytime and it’s more flexible.”
Apart from tennis and pursuing other hobbies, Darius is currently busy promoting his new horror film entitled Sumala, which is based on a true story in Semarang.
