On July 26, while she was commentating on the event that opened the competition, on the set of France 2, Daphné Bürki collapsed at the end of the show, the emotion being too strong. In front of thousands of viewers, she dedicated this show to her partner, David Hache, who died last April.

This Sunday, August 11, the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games took place and the presenter of Culturebox slipped in front of the France 2 cameras again to comment on it. On August 28, the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games will take place on the Place de la Concorde. “We involved the Paralympic athletes in the process to find out what they wanted and the message they wanted to send,” says Daphné Bürki.

Daphné Bürki: who was her companion David Hache, dead at 42 years old
On May 1st, Daphné Bürki decided to express herself on Instagram by posting a moving message about her partner, David Hache. The 42-year-old man, who passed away on April 16th, kept a low profile in the face of his partner’s fame. The couple always preferred to live their story out of the public eye. During his lifetime, David Hache was a director and photographer for Patizan, a company specializing in creating video content. The day after his death, the company posted a message on its social networks to pay tribute to him: “Everyone loved David, his presence shone wherever he went.”
