While many Danes could be happy on Saturday night about the Danish handball men who secured Denmark a superior victory over France in the Olympic handball tournament, there were seven Danes who probably had a slightly better evening.
They each won 1,000,000 kroner in the Lotto.
One of the coupons was bought in North Jutland. Specifically, the store Rene’s Vin og Grønttorv in Fjerritslev.
This is what Danske Spil writes in a press release, where they encourage Danes to remember to check their lottery ticket on Saturday.
Because Danske Spil has not yet spoken to the lucky winners.

One of the seven newly minted millionaires won via his PLUS subscription, where the money is automatically deposited into the account, while the other six millionaires were won via coupons bought in kiosks and shops.
The lottery winning numbers from Saturday 27 July are: 7, 19, 21, 22, 24, 35, 36. And the additional number is 8.
