Danish esports organization Astralis has announced that it will be partnering with Nordic retail giant Elgiganten for a multi-year partnership, with the pair working on a series of activations and initiatives aimed at targeting Danish and Nordic fans. While there’s no mention of exactly what the deal is worth, we’re told it will span at least three years, and that it will include meet-and-greets with Astralis’ three Counter-Strike teams, all of which will be placed online on Astralis Nexus and Elgiganten warehouses across Denmark. Niclas Nybjerg, Director of Sales at Astralis, said: “We will be offering many very attractive offers, events and other activities together with Elgiganten, who will be a key part of our upcoming national tour with players from our various Counter-Strike teams Meet. These events will have some big surprises for the fans who come and join us.
