Boston has signed Danilo Gallinari to a two-year, $13.3 million (€13.1m) contract, as reported by ESPN. The Italian winger (33) comes out of a season with 11.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game with the Atlanta Hawks. At the beginning of the summer, he had joined San Antonio as part of the transfer of Dejounte Murray but the Spurs had quickly “cut”.
After the Knicks (2008-2011), the Nuggets (2011-2017), the Clippers (2017-2019), the Thunder (2019-2020) and the Hawks (2020-2022), Gallinari will therefore discover a sixth franchise in the NBA with the Celtics, finalists last season and where he should bring depth from the bench.
