Carlos Lara, who was Daniella Campos’s partner for eight months, sued the former Miss World Chile for domestic violence.
As detailed by the businessman in the legal action, to which he had access BioBioChilethe facts date back to January 25 of this year, when – according to what he claims – he was attacked by Campos while he was opening the gate of his house in El Tabo.
In the complaint, filed last Friday before the San Antonio Guarantee Court, it is indicated that at that time the model, “in an act lacking rationality and respect for the personal sphere”tried to take the keys from him, injuring his arm.
Noticing the pain and bleeding, Lara called Carabineros personnel, who proceeded to arrest Campos, taking her to the nearest police unit, “a situation that might not be verified except following profuse resistance put up by the defendant once morest police action.” .
However, the situation did not end there, since according to Lara, that same night Campos returned to his home -despite being prohibited from doing so-, trying to enter the property, which led to police intervention once more.
In the letter, the complainant maintains that once back in Santiago, Campos began to call people around him to announce threats once morest the businessman.
“She ended her threats by saying that she was asking to let me know that I had to take care of myself since I had no idea who I had gotten involved with and that she was capable of shitting me and was going to do it,” the document reads.
According to the complaint, the facts described constitute three illegal acts: injuries in the context of domestic violence, crime of violation of residence and crime of unconditional threats.
Let us remember that following being arrested on January 25 in El Tabo, Campos used her social networks to deny the charges, adding that “false complaints are a crime in this country.”
“I absolutely deny having experienced a situation of domestic violence with Mr. Carlos Lara Díaz. During the day in reference, we were not together. There was no physical or personal contact. I was alone on the beach all day with my daughter, ”she began writing.
“The incident that caused my arrest occurred when, upon arriving at the place in question with my ex-partner’s father to remove my personal belongings and those of my daughter, the owner of the house did not allow me and requested my detention once more, leaving great part of my things at home,” he said.
According to Campos, the “Carabineros officers had accepted the request to arrest me once more for this alleged crime, which is why I was taken to the police station and later released.”
