But there has been no sanction, no matter how much the debt increases, nothing… If it goes to court or the family court and pays me, that would be fantastic. A lot of time is lost and there are many errors in the system, ”he noted on the screen.
A few days following Vitta herself assured that an agreement with Guerrero to readjust the debt was in process, the former La Sociedad shared a public statement through his social networks, where he apologized to his fans.
“It is true that I have a food pension debt with my eldest son, 23 years old”is read at the beginning of the text.
“This debt was generated for the most part in the period following October 2019, but includes recent readjustments associated with recalculations for the 2016-2019 period (period in which I never stopped paying the previously defined amount),” adds Guerrero.
According to the musician, the reason for the debt lies in the effects of the pandemic on the industry of live music shows, which he assures, in his case, are just reactivating.
“For this reason, and in no case due to lack of will, I have not been able to fully comply with my financial obligations as a father”highlighted the composer.
“I am working hard to catch up with all my obligations, which I fully recognize and have always complied with within my economic possibilities,” Guerrero adds in the statement, where he ensures that all copyrights associated with his songs, during the period in which the pension was breached, were used directly to settle the debt.
