Daniel Dannery’s El Mirón is on the boards

Making a parenthesis in the number of comedies on the Venezuelan theater billboard, the play El Mirón, written, directed and produced by Daniel Dannery, with the performance of Santiago Perera, is one of the 30 proposals of season III of Microteatral.

The work narrates the chance meeting of a couple who hides in a room, without foreseeing that, intruding inside with them, a man has sneaked into the room to silently observe their intimate moment.

The Peeper is the third work that exposes the gaze (as Dannery did in his previous works, such as A Lego Piece and The Ribbon Collector), focusing, on this occasion, on voyeurism.

The creative team is made up of Koax The Droid, electronic music producer and who composed the original music that accompanies the proposal. Keyler Delgado, a young man who was responsible for carrying out the photo shoot that accompanies the art design of the show. And the special participation of the Venezuelan poet Pamela Rahn Sánchez, who has provided her voice for one of the characters.

Daniel Dannery has 18 years of experience and has received important theater awards in the country.

On this occasion he gives his contribution to the third season of the year at Microteatral Caracas at the Ccct, where he participates with the particular uncomfortable nuance that characterizes his work on stage.
