Shark alert in Miami: A dangerous fin appears on the Florida coast. Video from Friday shows bathers panicking as a shark swims past them.
Like in a movie, a shark’s fin appears close to the beach. There people try to warn the other bathers. Parents grab their children and leave the water. Swimmers try to avoid the animal. Panicked shouts can be heard.
Nobody seems to have been injured. The shark swims away without having achieved anything.
Scientists say sharks might be using cocaine
Sharks are no longer uncommon on the Florida coast. There was even a recent scientific report suggesting that sharks were consuming cocaine lost by drug smugglers off shore. However, no final conclusions have yet been drawn.
