The UNAIDS World AIDS Day Report 2022 will be launched on Tuesday 29 November in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, as part of the UNAIDS Executive Director’s visit to the country. This report is called “Dangerous Inequalities” and reveals that inequalities hinder the eradication of AIDS. At the current pace, the world will not be able to meet the international AIDS targets. Millions of lives are at stake. The new UNAIDS report shows that only urgent action to tackle inequalities will allow the global AIDS response to meet its targets. He also points out how leaders around the world can fight once morest these inequalities and he asks them to show courage.
