Madara, who visited the fireworks in Ogre for the first time, was also shocked by the fact that the area around the Culture Center had not been cordoned off: “We ran through the crowd at the last moment with 3 children to hide at the entrance door of the Culture House, under the roof. And it’s a good thing, because where we stood before, slag fell to the ground – ashes with sparks and flames. It could have ended really badly!”
