More than 500 young and old dancers participate in the show, who for two days will present dances and events from all over Greece. Every day 8 regions of the country will be presented.
A great weight will also fall on the dances from Cyprus since this year marks 50 years since the Turkish invasion.
This year’s event will be accompanied by live music from an orchestra with great musicians of our folk tradition under the direction of Nikos Milos.
The orchestra consists of: Nikos Mila violin, Panos Skouteris – clarinet – bagpipes – tsambouna, Angeliki Pardali – singing – santouri, Kostas Stefanopoulos – singing – accordion, Panagiotis Stathakis – lute, Alexandros Rizopoulos – percussion.
