According to the report of the Local Directorate of the National Water Commission (CONAGUA), the dams that make up the water region of the Valley of Mexico are, on average, at 48.5 percent of their capacity.

In that sense, the Taxhimay body of water registers 60.1, with 23,975 million cubic meters (mm³) stored; la Requena, 29.9, with 15,414 mm³; the Endhó, 54.3, with 117,373 mm³; Rojo Gómez, 54 with 21,605 mm³ and Vicente Aguirre, 3.8% with 0.673 mm³.

While in the Northern Gulf region, the La Esperanza dam is at 100 percent with 3,920 mm³; and the Ing. Fernando Hiriart Balderrama dam, located in the municipality of Zimapán, registers a 80.8, with 1,123,330 mm³.

On the other hand, reports from the National Meteorological Service (SMN), of Conagua, indicate that temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius are expected in some regions, as well as winds with gusts of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour and possible dust devils.

For Huasteca, maximum temperatures of 43 and minimum temperatures of 2 are expected; for the Sierra, maximums of 41 and minimums of 21; and for the Altiplano, maximums of 28 and minimums of 10.

For the Pachuca-Tizayuca area, maximum temperatures of 31 and minimum temperatures of 13 are forecast; for the Tepehua region, maximums of 38 and minimums of 21; and for the Tulancingo Valley, maximums of 30 and minimums of 12.
