The interpreter of “Young and con” is having a difficult time financially and explains why the places for his concerts go up to 116 euros.

Damien Saez was successful in the 2000s with his title “Young and con”. Since then, he has released several albums and continued to tour until today. In “The Parisian» of this December 29, the journalist is surprised by the price of the tickets for the concerts of the 45-year-old artist. Indeed, a ticket for the show with a double album, a collection and a subscription to its site, is 116 euros.
The singer replied, “I agree, it’s expensive! But do you know how much it costs to rent the Zénith? It’s not 20,000 euros! That’s ten times more! My life is in the studio and on stage. It’s hand-sewn, craftsmanship, and it comes at a cost.”

Then asked about the possible success of his site (paid), the musician said more about his financial situation. “Music today with paid streaming is viable over six years. Record sales have dropped, if I sell 15,000, that’s good. I am in debt… I have only been repaying for fifteen years. I don’t have the means to live in Paris, but I haven’t lowered the salary of the sound engineer and the musicians with whom I have the chance to work. It’s not a complaint, it’s a fact.”
