With his fighters, the businessman took control of the city of Rostov (south) and his convoy crossed several regions, to the point of approaching a few hundred kilometers from Moscow, causing amazement in Russia and the stranger.

Neither Wagner nor the Russian army have at this stage officially communicated on possible victims linked to these clashes.

In Rostov, where the Wagner group occupied a military headquarters in the city center on Saturday, “more than 10,000 m2 of pavement” were damaged, according to the mayor, Alekseï Logvinenko.

In photos he posted on his Telegram channel, you could see traces of tanks having damaged the road.

“Teams will start repairing the damage today. All the work is scheduled to be completed in two days,” said the manager.

After an agreement reached on Saturday evening between Mr. Prigojine and the Kremlin, following the mediation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Wagner’s fighters withdrew from Rostov. On Sunday, they continued their withdrawal from the regions they had invested.
