The City of Dallas, through its Parks and Recreation program, has partnered with local organizations to offer a free park pass to thousands of youth ages 13-17.
Starting July 1, teens will be able to register and obtain their pass at any recreation center in the city.
Passes are valid while supplies last and allow access to a wide range of activities, including:
- Public Pools: Enjoy a refreshing dip at one of Dallas’ many aquatic centers.
- Parks and Recreation Areas: Explore the outdoors in one of the city’s many parks, play sports, or just relax with friends.
- Recreation Centers: Participate in dance classes, art workshops, sporting events and much more.
How to get your free pass?
Visit any Dallas recreation center starting July 1. Please have a photo ID showing your age and Dallas residency.

Teens ages 13-17 must be present to register. Adults cannot pick up a pass on behalf of their teen.
- Texas driver’s license or student ID
- Passport
- Out-of-state ID or driver’s license
- Consular registration
- Mexican ID Card
- Other forms of identification must be accompanied by a recent utility bill proving Dallas residency.
Time to pick up the passes:
- July 1: Starting at 10am
- July 2nd onwards: Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-7pm, and Saturday 9am-2pm (Closed July 4th)
