The Chinese Football Association will temporarily add a transfer window and transfer quota from now on to help former Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic players handle transfers.
On the 24th of this month, Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic announced that due to debt problems, it had decided to withdraw from the Chinese Super League this season and dissolve the team. According to the arrangement of the Chinese Football Association, the Dalian People’s Club, which was relegated from the Chinese Super League last season, will be qualified for the Chinese Super League. The scale of the Chinese Super League in 2022 will be 18 clubs. A scale will also remain at 18 clubs.
Due to Shanghai Jiading Huilong Football Club’s supplementary participation in the China League One, and the Chinese U19 National Youth Team will no longer form a team to participate in the China League Two in the 2022 season, the scale of participation in the League Two in the 2022 season will be reduced from the original plan of 20 teams to 18 teams .
The Chinese Football Association stated that the original work contracts of professional players of Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football were automatically terminated. Professional leagues at all levels will add a temporary transfer window. The Chinese Super League will be from May 27 to June 10, 2022; the Chinese League One will be from May 27 to June 15, 2022; the Chinese Second League will be from May 2022. 27th to 15th June.
