Rumors have been rife since the Daily Mail claimed that Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson had broken off their engagement.
Now the star couple is dispelling the rumours.
“They are happy together,” a spokesperson for the actress tells People.
Chris Martin47, and his fiancee Dakota Johnson34, would according to a source to Daily Mail having broken off their engagement and gone their separate ways after drifting apart.
“Chris and Dakota have been fighting hard for the past few months to make their relationship work. They will always have love for each other, but they have both come to the conclusion that the relationship cannot be sustained in the long term,” a source told the magazine.

The star’s spokesperson denies the rumours
But the information is strongly denied by Johnson’s spokesperson about the alleged rumours.
“The information is not true. They are happy together,” Johnson’s representative added People during the Glastonbury Festival in Great Britain.

Supposed to have secretly got engaged
The Coldplay frontman and the “Fifty shades of grey” actor have been dating since 2017. They often keep their romance private and rarely make public appearances together.
Johnson has since 2020 been seen wearing a large emerald ring on his left hand. In March this year, a source revealed to People that it is an engagement ring.
“They got engaged several years ago but were in no rush to get married,” the source said.
The couple themselves have not commented on the engagement. However, in October 2021, Martin publicly dedicated his song “Universe” to Dakota Johnson during a Coldplay concert.
“This is about my universe, and she’s here,” the singer told the crowd at the time.
