Dakahlia Health: Examination of 3642 women during a reproductive health convoy in Sinbellaween

Organized by the Family Planning Department of the Directorate Dakahlia HealthA reproductive health convoy in the center and city of Senbellaween, which included the provision of comprehensive medical services, as part of the “Our Days Are Better” campaign.

Dr. Sharif Makin, Undersecretary of the Ministry, confirmed that regarding 1,592 internal cases were detected, in addition to 1,564 who visited the children’s clinic in the convoy.

For her part, Dr. Iman Al-Sayed, Director of the Family Planning Department, said that rural women pioneers participated in the “Our Days Are Better” campaign, and the total number of beneficiaries reached regarding 3,642 women, through 51 fixed units and 3 mobile clinics.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Health had announced the launch of a number of family planning and reproductive health convoys in the governorates as part of the “Our Days Are Better” initiative to provide free family planning services and means to beneficiaries in villages and areas deprived of such services, within the framework of the Ministry’s plan to reduce Population increase, concern for the public health of citizens, and the realization of Egypt’s vision 2023.

This came according to the instructions of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health, and the directives of Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, to intensify the work of free reproductive and medical health convoys, to improve living conditions in the areas most in need, and enable them to obtain all basic services, ingredients and needs for their citizens and ease the burdens on their shoulders.
