Dr. Mahmoud Al-Qayati, a member of the Media Center of the Meteorological Authority, revealed details of the weather and expected weather phenomena in most parts of the Republic, tomorrow, Monday, April 24, 2023.
Al-Qayati told Masrawy that tomorrow the country will witness a hot weather in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt during daylight hours, with temperatures dropping on the northern coasts and sometimes warm.
He added that in northern Upper Egypt and southern Sinai, hot weather prevails and reaches very hot in southern Upper Egypt, and the maximum temperatures recorded in Greater Cairo are 29 degrees, and reach 23 and 24 on the northern coasts, while it ranges between 30 and 31 degrees in northern Upper Egypt and reaches 37 and 38 in the north. Al-Qayati warned citizens of low temperatures during the night hours, which drop in Greater Cairo and the northern part of the republic to 15 and 16 degrees, explaining that there is a big difference between the maximum and minimum temperatures during the day and at night, ((and we warn of it during the current period)).
And Al-Qayati continued: Despite the high temperatures during the daytime hours, and the presence of a hot atmosphere, we warn that the weather during the night hours turns into a cold weather, and cold in some areas.
He pointed out that the most prominent expected weather phenomena is the appearance of a water cloud during the early morning, and it is sometimes dense or very noticeable tomorrow morning and the day following tomorrow, Tuesday.
A member of the media center at the Meteorological Authority stated that the wind speeds are moderate in most regions of the republic, and sometimes active in separate areas, whether on the northern coasts, Greater Cairo, or north and south of Upper Egypt, and wind speeds sometimes reach 35 km per hour.
And the condition of the Mediterranean and Al-Ahmar Bahrain is moderate and allows for fishing and marine navigation, and with chances of rain, it will be light in areas of the south of the Al-Ahmar mountain ranges – (Halayeb and Shalatin) – light in all cases, and it can be thundery at times.
Al-Qayati warned once morest loosening clothes during the night hours, especially for children, and the reason for this is due to the large difference in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the same day, saying: “The same type of clothes that we wear during the day cannot be the same type of clothes at night .. I mean, during the day we can reduce Clothing due to the hot weather and extreme heat, but at night it is preferable not to loosen it and summer clothes should not be worn.
Al-Qayati also warned citizens traveling on the roads during the early morning hours, of the formation of water clouds on the roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the canal cities, the delta, and even northern Upper Egypt, and that wind activity sometimes leads to more cold weather.
