Concept car details
The dimensions of this 3rd generation practically do not change. On the other hand, the new look is surprising. With its stretched grille all in width and its “Y” light signature, the Duster 2024 undoubtedly gains in presence.
All the plastic parts visible on the bodywork were made from an innovative material composed of 20% recycled material, Starkle, which was presented on the 2021 Manifesto concept. Dacia is also very proud to display the symbol recycling on the Starkle at the front doors.

The “Y” stylistic signature also appears in the passenger compartment, visible in particular on the air vents and in the door structure. The ergonomics have been particularly careful with a new 10.1-inch central screen oriented 10° towards the driver. This is available from the second trim level and controls a redesigned multimedia system. And for the first time, the dashboard is also digital from the second trim level.
The feeling of space on board is very present, so much so that three adults will be quite well seated in the rear, even in the central seat. The trunk volume increases to 472 liters in the two-wheel drive version.
In the accessories department, Dacia offers a clever new tool called “YouClip”, which allows you to attach numerous dedicated accessories to key locations in the passenger compartment: touchscreen tablet holder, storage pocket, smartphone holder with induction charger, etc. .
Hybrid replaces diesel
The new Duster forgoes its diesel engines. However, it is offered for the first time in a 140 hp hybrid version, with the same engine as the Jogger. This third generation still remains available in 100 hp LPG, and in gasoline version with the new 3-cylinder 1.2 TCe engine with mild hybridization. The latter will allow you to opt for 4×4 all-wheel drive. Moreover, Dacia has further improved the 4×4 capabilities of this Duster, already impressive in the field, which now offers 5 driving modes: auto, snow, mud/sand, off-road and eco.
Marketing is planned for spring 2024 with a promised starting price of under €20,000.
