On the followingnoon of February 1, the People’s Committee of Da Lat City, Lam Dong province, issued a decision to sanction an administrative violation once morest Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa (57 years old, director of Dream Flower Hotel Co., Ltd., Da Lat) due to her discriminatory behavior once morest tourists and failure to notify before going into operation in accordance with regulations.
Accordingly, the People’s Committee of Da Lat City imposed a fine of 4 million dong on Ms. Thoa (owner of Dream Flower Hotel, An Binh Street, Da Lat) for discriminating once morest tourists specified at Point b, Clause 3. , Article 6, Decree No. 45/2019/ND-CP dated May 21, 2019 of the Government, regulating administrative sanctions in the field of tourism.
In addition, Ms. Thoa was also fined 4 million VND by the authorities for the act of not giving notice before going into operation for the above hotel (specified at Point a, Clause 2, Article 10, Decree No. No. 45/2019/ND-CP dated May 21, 2019).
The Da Lat City People’s Committee requires the owner of the Dream Flower Hotel to comply with the payment of fines, otherwise they will be coerced to do so in accordance with the law.
Earlier, on January 29, a group of tourists went live on social media regarding the fact that even though they had booked a room in advance, when they arrived, the owner of the Dream Flower Hotel had unfriendly, insulting and unfriendly words. agreed to let the above group of guests check in, using the excuse that they were foreigners, afraid of contagion.
After the information spread online, on the followingnoon of January 30, the interdisciplinary delegation of Da Lat City came to work with the above hotel owner and made a record of the incident with 2 administrative violations as above.
