D Chowk protest case, Aleema and Uzmi Khan’s plea for further physical remand rejected – Pakistan

Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad rejected the request for further physical remand of Aleema Khan and Uzmi Khan in the D Chowk protest case. The court sent the two sisters of PTI founder to jail on judicial remand.

Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the D Chowk protest case. Usman Riaz Gul and Niazullah Niazi, the lawyers of the founding sisters of PTI appeared.

Usman Riaz Gul requested to play the video in the court, the court said that you are giving a USB, everyone knows the legal status of this evidence, I am not the investigating officer or the magistrate, but give the USB to the investigating officer.

The court asked the investigating officer why do you want remand? What is the recovery in six days? Prosecutor Raja Naveed said remand is required to reach the conspiracy.

After a heated exchange between the PTI lawyers and the police, the judge called Aleema Khan and Uzmi Khan to the rostrum.

The court also ordered the unrelated persons to leave the courtroom.

Aleema Khan pleaded to allow us to meet her family members, on which the court allowed Imran Khan’s sisters to meet their family members.

It should be noted that a case has been registered against Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan under terrorism provisions in Kohsar police station.
