In the women’s singles quarterfinals, unseeded Karolina Muchova (Czech Republic), ranked 52nd in the world, defeated 22nd seed Beatriz Adamaia (Brazil) 6-1, 6-4 to reach the semi-finals for the second year in a row.
In the men’s tournament, 25th seed Jack Draper (Great Britain) defeated 10th seed Alex de Minaur (Australia) in straight sets 6-3, 7-5, 6-2 to advance to the semifinals for the first time.
