Will taxes increase? The answer is still hanging on everyone’s lips. Philippe Herlin, guest on “On marche sur la tête”, hosted by Cyril Hanouna, notes that it is a good thing that Macronist and National Rally deputies are censoring this measure.

A potential tax increase would have difficulty passing among certain parties such as Ensemble pour la République or the National Rally. “I think it’s very good that the Macronist deputies and those of the National Rally say who would censure in the event of a tax increase,” tends economist Philippe Herlin, guest on On marche sur la tête, hosted by Cyril Hanouna.

According to him, the increase in public spending and the deficit must be stopped. “In 1975, the date of the first budget in deficit, that is to say it is the first Giscard/Chirac budget, France was balanced. After that date, the country has always been in deficit and public spending has always increased more or less,” he argues.
