The severe weather conditions that prevailed on Wednesday morning in Cyprus brought many problems mainly in Limassol.
In particular, as reported by information from cyprustimes.com, in addition to the hail that fell in various areas of the province, a tornado formed in the sky and dragged everything in its path.
Roads were closed, trees fell from the tornado
In fact, according to an announcement by the Police, various objects have been swept along the Limassol-Nicosia highway. Members of the Police are at the scene and drivers are asked to be especially careful.
In the meantime, according to iefimerida, the coastal road of Limassol, from Germasogeia Police Station, to Ariadnis Street (K-Cineplex Street), is closed to traffic due to cutting and falling trees.
Also due to mud, the Paramytha-Gerasa, Spitali-Fasoula, Fasoula-Limes and Apsiou-Mathikoloni roads are open only to vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with anti-skid chains.
