The 23-year-old cyclist, seriously injured on Tuesday followingnoon in Antwerp, died in hospital, local police said.
The victim found himself under a truck that wanted to take a side street. The truck driver probably did not see the cyclist, or too late.
La Plantin en Moretuslei, where the accident took place, was closed to traffic for some time, which caused major traffic jams.
