Despite a huge sign on the back, that of favorite, it was Fabio Jakobsen who won this Saturday in the sprint of this second stage of the Tour de France. The Dutchman from Quick-Step jumped on the line, Wout van Aert (jumbo) in Nyborg, following crossing the large bridge that connects two of the islands of Denmark.
The Belgian, who had been beaten the day before during the prologue by Lampaert, took on the leader’s yellow jersey at the end of this stage slowed down by the headwind on the Great Belt strait.
