Tadej Pogacar added another glittering trophy to his already impressive collection, solidifying his status as one of cycling’s dominant forces. The Slovenian rode to victory in Paris while at the Velo d’Or ceremonies.

“When I received this trophy for the first time in 2021, I was still young and I didn’t care much about it. As the years go by, you realize its importance. I feel honored, it rewards all the work done,” the 26-year-old rider told AFP.

Pogacar capped off a season for the ages, which included, 25 victories, notably achieving the coveted Giro-Tour-Mondiaux triple after winning the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the World Championships.
