ABU DHABI: The Community Legal Awareness Center at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has launched an extensive awareness campaign on the dangers of cybercrime. The campaign was launched to ensure the safety of the society under the title ‘Be Safe’. The campaign aims to spread accurate legal awareness regarding cyber crimes amid the widespread use of social media. The campaign, which will last for three months from the beginning of September to the end of November 2022, is being implemented at the behest of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman.
The campaign, organized by the Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with universities, media, newspapers and government agencies, will include awareness lectures. It will include more than 30 lectures and publications across audio, visual, print media and social media platforms. It also includes programs to educate parents on how to protect their children from cybercrime so that they do not become perpetrators or victims.
