Customs obligation imposed on sending pink salt from Pakistan to different nations – Pakistan

The Directorate of Customs Valuation Lahore has imposed an obligation of $130 per metric ton on the export of pink rock salt. The Directorate issued a valuation ruling on this regard on Wednesday.

The Directorate of Customs Valuation Lahore acquired directions from the Directorate of Karachi on this regard. The Lahore Directorate has issued this valuation ruling underneath sub-section 15 of part 25 of the Customs Act, 1969.

On this regard, a stakeholders’ assembly was additionally held by which Commerce and Improvement Authority (TADAP), Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Trade, representatives of Salt Producers Affiliation of Pakistan and exporters of pink salt participated.
