Another unfortunate death has been confirmed as a result of the nationwide, this time in the city of . This is Remo Candia Guevara, 44 years old.

The event occurred during the protests on Avenida 28 de Julio and, according to information from the Antonio Lorena Hospital in Cusco, the deceased suffered abdominal thoracic trauma.

In addition, according to the Cusco Regional Health Management, Candia Guevara was admitted to the intensive care unit due to a projectile wound to the thorax and abdomen.

Meanwhile, only today, there are already 34 reported injuries, as a result of clashes between protesters and police officers. Most of them present blows and bruises, while others due to the impact of pellets.

This Wednesday, January 11, the protests in the aforementioned city became more violent than in previous days, so the situation got out of control.
