OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Stephen Curry scored 30 points, including a pair on a layup that gave the Warriors the lead with two-tenths of a second left, and Golden State beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 141-139 on Friday in the first duel of both teams in the new In-Season competition.
Originally, Curry’s basket was invalidated due to alleged interference with the ball’s path to the rim. The infraction was ruled out and the Warriors claimed their second consecutive victory in the last second.
On Wednesday, Klay Thompson scored with less than a second left to secure the win over Sacramento.
Dario Saric scored 20 points, while Chris Paul dished out 13 assists for Golden State, which improved to 5-1 this season.
Lu Dort scored 29 points, Chet Holmgren added 24 and Josh Giddey had 18, including 14 in the fourth quarter for the Thunder. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City’s leading scorer this season, sat out with a sprained left knee.
