Fresher, cheekier and from now on every Friday: political talk “Aktuell: Die Woche” on Joyn, PULS 24 & ATV
Vienna (OTS) – The pointed political talk “Aktuell: Die Woche” with moderator Meinrad Knapp, Political consultant Thomas Hofer and pollsters Peter Hajek always leaves on Fridays at 6:00 p.m on PULSE 24, at 10:20 p.m Review the political week on ATV and on Austria’s SuperStreamer Joyn. Among other things, the results of Peter Hajek’s current opinion survey will be discussed. He surveyed 500 Austrians: “Should the NEOS be part of the next federal government?”
At 50 percent, the majority of those surveyed, representative of the Austrian population, are somewhat or completely once morest NEOS’s participation in government following the next National Council election. This is compared to 40 percent who would definitely welcome NEOS or would rather welcome it as part of the upcoming federal government. 10 percent have no opinion on it.
There are big differences among the voter groups: While 90 percent of NEOS voters want government participation and 66 percent of Green voters are positive regarding it, SPÖ voters are undecided (48 percent in favor of government participation, 43 percent once morest). Both the majority of ÖVP voters (51 percent) and 84 percent of FPÖ voters do not want to see NEOS in the next federal government.
Pollster Peter Hajek: “The problem for NEOS is not that there is too little support for pink government participation, but rather whether this participation is arithmetical. A traffic light coalition made up of the SPÖ, the Greens and NEOS seems a long way off today. What remains is that one as “Appendages go into an ÖVP-SPÖ coalition in order to secure a majority, which also seems moderately attractive. Another hurdle is the entry of new parties into the National Council. The more parties are represented, the more difficult it becomes to find a coalition.”
