According to “Bild”, the investigators found 200,000 euros in bills of different sizes.

According to “Bild”, the Cologne public prosecutor’s office, which is leading the investigation, apparently sees this as an indication that Kahrs may have campaigned to save the Hamburg Warburg Bank, which was involved in illegal so-called cum-ex transactions, huge tax repayments in the millions.
