Culture of cancellation: “It started with peanut butter” -Mulcair

For Thomas Mulcair, the battle of genres began with the debate around this delicious morning spread. It’s a picture you think? Actually… not that much. For the former leader of the NDP, when schools made the decision to ban peanut butter to protect allergic children, it was society that bowed to a minority.

“It’s not up to the parents to make sure the kids are paying attention,” he asks.

The climax of this war for inclusion is the decision of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television to organize the Gemini gala. We recall that in 2023, eight categories were combined, including the highly prized Best Actor and Best Actress.

Richard Martineau also finds Gemini’s decision difficult to understand. But beware, with Jean-François Lisée, the three men obviously say they are in favor of inclusion, but cannot help but frown.

“Why are we reducing by 50% the reasons we listen to the gala?, asks Jean-François Lisée. Make a Best Non-Binary category!”

For him, the spectators are not really interested in the other categories. In short, the arguments spin in all directions for this last column of 2022 for these three “penis owners”…

Listen to the Lisée – Mulcair meeting with Richard Martineau broadcast live every day at 8:50 a.m. via QUB radio:
