Cultural traditions will meet in Guatire

A meeting to strengthen the dialogue of knowledge and learn about the diverse expressions of the popular culture of that community, will take place on Friday in Guatire, municipality
Zamora, Miranda state.

This is the first meeting of culture and tradition as means of communication
of the Zamora identity, which will bring together in the same space expressions as varied as gastronomy, the parties of San Pedro and San Juan, burriquitas, crafts,
dances, joropo, flower carpet, the National Orchestra System, historians, cultists and bearers of knowledge, in addition to a large representation of communicators and content creators for social networks from that Mirandina region.

Berenice Muñoz, teacher, musician and one of the organizers of the event for the Future Movement, stated that what is sought is to promote the meeting and exhibit on the same stage the cultural, identity and historical wealth of a community that is just 33 kilometers from the country’s capital, where an immense range of artistic and creative manifestations with great popular roots bustle.

The event, free and public, will take place in the Great Hall of the Grand Hotel, Guarenas – Guatire national highway, starting at 9 am.

The program includes a block of talks on local history, a series of presentations by communication professionals and social media managers, artistic and cultural presentations and sales of local cuisine and
Venezuelan candy store.
