Cuddly Bears Bring Smiles and Support to Seriously Ill Children
For many children, life is filled with scraped knees, birthday parties, and the boundless energy of play. But for some, the world takes a drastically different turn. Diagnosed with serious illnesses, these children face a reality where doctors’ appointments, hospital stays, and limitations become commonplace.
“Suppose you are told that you are very ill or that someone you know is not doing well at all. Through a series of creative fundraising campaigns, the founders aim to finance crucial scientific research and directly impact the lives of children battling illnesses like heart defects, skin conditions such as butterfly disease, and other serious medical challenges.

Spreading Joy and Support Through Partnerships
Cuddly Bear has already achieved remarkable milestones, partnering with several dedicated foundations and touching the lives of countless children. In late October, their first campaign focused on the De Inkleur Porsche Foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing smiles to seriously ill children with its cool, colorable racing cars and an abundance of hugs
This campaign, focused on collecting cuddly toys, resulted in an impressive haul of over 750 cuddly companions, providing comfort and joy to children in hospitals and at home.
In mid-November, Cuddly Bear shifted its focus to the Hartekind Foundation, which is deeply committed to improving the lives of children with heart disease. The campaign successfully raised nearly €150, further demonstrating the profound impact of their efforts.
Looking Ahead: More Smiles to Come
Fueled by their success, Cuddly Bear’s founders are looking ahead to the future, with plans to collaborate with the Vlinderkind Foundation and the Over the Rainbow for Maud Foundation in the final weeks of 2024. These Collaborations aim to bring further support and smiles to children facing different types of medical challenges.
