Two migrants fly from Cuba to Florida in hang gliders

Two Cuban migrants flew the approximately 145 kilometers from the communist-ruled island to Florida in a motorized hang glider. As the police said, they landed safely on Saturday (local time) at Key West Airport in the extreme south-eastern tip of the United States. The two were handed over to the US Border Protection Agency.

CNN reporter Carlos Suarez posted a video of the action on Twitter.
Large numbers of Cubans have recently attempted to reach Florida by boat, while scores of migrants from Central American countries hope to cross the land border with Mexico to reach the United States.

New parole system for migrants
For some of them, including Cubans, since January there has been a new regulation, a kind of probation system, through which they can come to the United States for a limited time through a sponsor within the United States. But you have to apply online beforehand. Those who don’t do this can be deported once more.
