The Office of the Higher Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research (CSEFRS) held a meeting on Wednesday in Rabat under the chairmanship of the president of the council, Habib El Malki, devoted to the preparation of the fourth session ordinary session of the second term of the CSEFRS, scheduled for February.
Mr. El Malki called, at the start of this meeting, for continued efforts and mobilization during this important stage to enable the Council to accomplish its missions within the framework of supporting the implementation of the reform of the education, training and scientific research system, indicates the CSEFRS office in a press release.
During this meeting, the Council office discussed a self-referral proposal, aimed at preparing an opinion on the theme “Professions in the education and training system” in the light of scientific and academic developments and transformations of the education system at the national and international levels.
At the same time, members of the ad-hoc working group, created by the general assembly during its last session, were designated to prepare a reference document on the “new school”.
The office bearers were also informed of the Council’s participation in the first high-level meeting of the presidents of educational councils, organized by the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), on 18 and 19 January in Tunisia, concludes the press release.
