A number of former and current ministers participated in the condolences of the wife of Dr. Tarek Shawky, the former Minister of Education, at the Mosque of the Field Marshal Tantawi in the Fifth Settlement, following the Maghrib prayer today, Sunday.
Shawki received the mourners, who were headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Awad Taj El-Din, President Sisi’s advisor for health affairs and epidemics.
Shawqi mourned his wife on his official page on “Facebook”, saying: “Oh, you calm soul, return to your Lord satisfied, so enter my servants and enter my heaven.”
The funeral was attended by Dr. Hala Zayed, former Minister of Health, Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, President of the Senate.
