Crown Pride (JPN) did their most impressive job before the Kentucky Derby on the morning of Wednesday, April 27, 2022, completing the 800 meters in 46.2 seconds, on a fast track at Churchill Downs.
This was the best exercise of the day and with this he showed that he is ready for the Kentucky Derby next Saturday May 7th.

Crown Pride, who has had four jobs at Churchill Downs since arriving in the country on March 30 following winning the UAE Derby (G2), which earned him 100 points for the competition.
The horse adapts very well to the United States, there are things that are not the same as the races in Japan, but little by little he is picking up the pace. The horse’s trainer, by Koichi Shintani, wants to surprise in the event.
