The MCG is divided on investments in France
The Grand Council adopted a text with a view to creating a fund for cross-border projects. Discontent rises at the MCG.

The Canton of Geneva should start funding projects in neighboring France again. In December, the Grand Council voted almost unanimously (3 no) and without debate a resolution asking the Council of State to launch negotiations for the creation of a cross-border fund. This absence of discussions is surprising when one remembers the history. The Canton no longer dares to pay a penny for projects on the other side of the border since the refusal by the Genevans, eight years ago, to finance P+R in France.
