Critics Choice Awards Crown ‘Everything, Everywhere, At Once’; see winners

One of the main Oscar thermometers, which announces its nominees next week, the Critics Choice Awards held the awards ceremony last Sunday night (15), crowning the praised “Everything in Everywhere at the Same Time” as a favorite. starring Michelle Yeoh, who won four statuettes – among them, best film and best original screenplay.

Among the productions not spoken in English, the Indian “RRR”, available on Netflix, took some awards, including best foreign film, highlighting this Tollywood superproduction, as well as its original song that became a fever in India. The film had already won these figurines at the recent Golden Globes.

The US critics’ awards also singled out “Abbott Elementary” among TV or streaming comedy series, while “Better Call Saul,” which ended last year, took the best drama award. “The Dropout” was celebrated as best miniseries, while the Japan-South Korea co-production “Pachinko” was chosen as an international highlight.
