Macrista Pandemic vs COVID-19 Pandemic
Not a few scientists say that the COVID-19 pandemic is coming to an end. I wish! We also continue to take care of ourselves.
What we do know is that in Argentina what will never end is what happened to us -and happens to us- due to the macrista pandemic, when in 2018 Macri brought the IMF back to Argentina.

The macro pandemic
In 2021, Argentina paid -between capital and interest- 5,160 million dollars to the IMF for the maturities of that year corresponding to the Stand By loan that the agency granted to Mauricio Macri in 2018. That amount represents, nothing more or nothing less than 1.1% of GDP… But in dollars!
The COVID-19 pandemic
In that same year, 2021, Argentina paid 420,000 million pesos that were strictly allocated to measures aimed at mitigating the effects of the pandemic. These include COVID Vaccines ($124,000 M), REPRO II ($90,000 M), Tourism Assistance – Pre-travel ($31,000 M) and reduction of employer contributions to REPRO II and Health Sector employers ($51,000 M), in addition to the Expansion of Social politics. That amount represents 0.9% of GDP… But in pesos!
conclusion
In this way, it can be seen very easily that, in 2021, the macrista pandemic was even more costly for the National State than the COVID-19 pandemic.
