Vice President Cristina Kirchner broke the silence today following her last statements on the day of the general election and reappeared with a recorded message addressed to the militants of the Frente Patria Grande of Juan Grabois, whom she asked to put “every personal effort” to ensure the victory of the presidential candidate of Unión por la Patria, Sergio Massa, in the runoff on November 19.
The audio message, which had as its occasion the celebration of the National Congress of the Frente Patria Grande party at the Faculty of Exact Sciences of the UBA, in Ciudad Universitaria, was broadcast by Grabois himself on his account on the social network X.
“This is a special greeting so that from now until November 19 we put everything, but every personal effort into social militancy for the victory of Unión por la Patria. I am sure that they are going to do it because I am also absolutely convinced that they love deeply to the Homeland, the People and the Nation, which all together are the same,” said the head of Kirchnerism.
The former president assured that the commitment of the militancy gathered for the party congress, with representatives of the 23 provinces and the City of Buenos Aires, “is not only political but essentially of life” with the future of the country.
“It goes without saying what a special moment we are experiencing, those of us who are active in politics, in the national, popular and democratic field from a very young age. I know of the commitment of each and every one of you,” he highlighted, before offering a special shout out to Grabois.
The social leader thanked Cristina Kirchner and called on the militancy to give up all their energy to win the runoff “whatever the cost” to “stop the dehumanization proposed by Macri and (Javier) Milei.”
The last public appearance of the vice president had been at the time of withdrawing from voting in Río Gallegos, when she surprised by maintaining that she had not been part of the Frente de Todos Government because she had not been “listened to” by President Alberto Fernández.
This Saturday, Grabois took stock of the result obtained by Sergio Massa in the national elections of last October 22 and warned regarding the consequences of a Milei Government (he predicted that it would be “a catastrophe for our people”).
During the Congress, the party authorities were ratified, in which the friend of Pope Francis renewed as president, while the national representative Natalia Zaracho was appointed to the position of vice president and the elected Buenos Aires senator Federico Fagioli, to the second vice presidency.
The board of directors of the Front, meanwhile, was made up of the national deputy Itai Hagman, the Buenos Aires legislator Ofelia Fernández, the Buenos Aires representative Lucía Klug and the leaders Carina López Monja, Victoria Freire, Eduardo Camus, Fernando Rey, Constanza San Pedro and Fernanda Miño as general secretary of Congress.
