Ronaldo’s sister Elma had also posted on social media: “Thank you for that, Liverpool, we will never forget what you did today.”
Ronaldo’s relative, Katia, posted “A Path Behind Football” while Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, published texts from the Bible.
The two clubs also exchanged words of praise, especially from United, who appreciated the behavior of Liverpool fans at Anfield, despite the legacy of the great rivalry in English football.
The shot was the most prominent part of Liverpool’s big win over Manchester United 4-0, in which the Reds dedicated their superiority this season to Old Trafford, following winning the first leg 5-0.
