Manchester: Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is back at the Manchester United camp. The star, who was absent from the pre-season tours to Thailand and Australia, joined the team yesterday evening. United’s legendary coach Alex Ferguson and Ronaldo’s agent arrived at the training ground with the star.
At the same time, Atletico Madrid have rejected the news that they are making moves to acquire Ronaldo. Earlier, Chelsea, who were in the field for Ronaldo, and Bayern Munich also withdrew from the move to acquire the superstar. Meanwhile, the club made two options for Ronaldo.
The first option is to be allowed to play for another team on loan for the coming season. However, United want to renew the current contract for at least one year and return to the team after the loan period. At the same time, coach Erik ten Haag is of the position that Ronaldo will not be released to anyone.
