Cristiano Ronaldo honors Al-Taei with a “hat-trick”

Saudi Arabia – Al-Nasr Club inflicted a crushing defeat on its guest Al-Taei (5-1) in the match that brought them together yesterday, Saturday, in the twenty-fifth round of the Saudi “Roshan” Professional Football League.

Portuguese player Otavio opened the scoring for the hosts in the twentieth minute.

Dutch midfielder Virgil Messidan responded with a quick equalizer for Al-Tai in the 22nd minute, before receiving the red card and leaving the field in the 36th minute of the first half.

Striker Abdel Rahman Gharib put the international team in front once more in lost time in the first half.

Then, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo shone by scoring three consecutive hat-tricks in the 64th, 67th and 87th minutes of the match, which took place at Al Awal Park Stadium in the capital, Riyadh.

Ronaldo strengthened his position as top scorer with 26 goals, 4 goals behind his Serbian runner-up, Aleksandar Mitrovic, the Al Hilal striker.

Al-Nasr Club thus achieved its second victory in a row, and occupies second place in the standings with 59 points, 12 points behind leaders Al-Hilal, which in turn defeated its guest Al-Shabab (4-3) today as well.

While Al-Taie Club occupies sixteenth place on the rankings with 22 points.
