Cristiano Rattazzi: “There may be an agreement between Javier Milei and Together for Change”

Christian Ratazzi, former president of Fiat, maintained that the country is in a situation of rupture and that almost 100 years following the great crisis we have to show a serious and normal Argentina. “There is going to be a difficult moment because something is going to have to say that the country must be organized economically”, he maintained in Modo Fontevecchiaby Net TV and Radio Perfil (FM 101.9).

Macri said yesterday, at lunch in La Rural, that he sees a balloting scenario between Together for Change and Javier Milei. What perspective do you have with your experience of years of seeing politics closely?

What I see is that heThe economic part of Argentina today is a swap, there are no more economic rules, everyone has a different value. Inflation is at 100% per year, luckily the deficit is decreasing a bit, but it is chaotic. I think that we’ve come to a serious breakup in Argentina, trying to be something different from what has been done for the last 90 years.

We are almost 100 years following the great crisis and this time we have to show a serious and normal Argentina. There has to be some rupturism in these elections. For example, if there were a runoff Milei-Together It would be a break in the customs that we have all had in Argentina.

Afterwards, almost everyone knows what to do, not much difference except serious fans of different things. How and who will do it is the question we have to have.

Ricardo Alfonsín: “How can a party that wants to add Javier Milei and José Luis Espert be radicalismo?”

How would you like me to do it and who?

Whoever knows how to do it better, I will know how to tell you further. I’m convinced that there may be an agreement between Javier Milei and Together for Change. You need to live a new world, knowing that young people are going to vote for you and that you will have 30% of the votes.

Under the economical point of view, mercy it is a security. What you have to see is all the other part, which for me would be more of someone from Juntos. I don’t think the K can represent something very interesting and a serious proposition. Since they’re running the economy right now, it’s chaos. I don’t see that something like that can be proposed.

Yes, there is going to be a difficult moment, because someone is going to have to say that the country must be organized economically. You don’t have to have inflation, have to have a stablecoin, whatever it is, I don’t care, convertibility, dollarization, euroization or bimonetarism. You cannot have an unstable currency, you are going to have to have a fiscal surplus for years, because we are so implausible that we cannot have even a small deficit.

Milei and the two faces of freedom

And a new word enters, which is freedomwhich is beginning to have an effect on the youth of the suburbs, who lived for years on plans, on subsidies, on handouts, and now think that in a system of capable freedom they can do something and earn serious money.

Now also doing something invented, because everything that the State does is invented. It does not create value, it creates poverty. You are going to do something where you do not work as a dependency, but rather inventing a new job, and suddenly you will see a country dedicated to freedom and entrepreneurship and in a short time we will see a country that wants to take that path towards being once more one of the great countries of the world that we were years ago.

There are some analyzes that Milei voters sell, mostly young people and men, people who follow the punishment vote to traditional politics. Many say that those voters were enthusiastic regarding Kirchner in 2003-2007 and today they are disappointed. Do you have any doubt that they are voting for liberal ideas or out of anger? And the deputies that Milei wins for that 20% the next day will not be deputies that will stop responding to him and become part of one of the coalitions?

There is no doubt that there isLots of people who are looking for something disruptive, but how strange that it is someone who talks regarding freedom. It was a problem that Juntos had, in some areas many legislators were not very convinced, they turned to the Victory Front and betrayed the idea of Juntos.

Federico Storani: “Together for Change we moved to the right and polarization is negative for national interests”

That risk is run but generally the people who are with mercy knows the values of freedom. So you are talking regarding legislators who respect work, freedom, entrepreneurship and know that the private sector is the only one that creates wealth and the public sector creates alms, plans and subsidies, and no value.

Argentina has to create value with new activities from people everywhere, and that anyone who is blank is not at the poverty level. It is the only country in the world that has people working in white and is at the poverty level, that is incredible.

Yesterday you said that a government is needed to put order right away. Do you think that this order might be put better by Larreta or Bullrich?

I don’t want to have myself in those internal, each one has to think regarding how he sees it. What is certain is that they allowed themselves to be continuously picketed, I think that this must be avoided and there are some who think more like me.
